The Outreach Therapy Program provides support and therapeutic services to women and children living in the community who are affected by or have experienced violence in the home. We are here to walk with you, whether you need emotional support, a safe place to heal, or simply help you to figure out where to turn, what to do next and how to keep yourself and your children safe. Healing takes time, resources and ongoing support. The Outreach Therapy Program connects survivors to many other resources within the Cape Girardeau Community. We can help families live free from abuse. All services are free, confidential.
If you would like to meet with an Outreach Advocate to learn more about your options for support and what services are right for you, contact our Outreach office at 573-335-7745, or call our 24 hour Hotline at 1-800-341-1830. We will listen, give you information, and help you safety plan while you determine what path is right for you.
W.I.N.O.N.A.S. (Women in Need of Nurture & Support)
Women from all walks of life join Outreach Support Group at our Outreach Office. Facilitated by a Licensed Professional Counselor, these ongoing, drop-in gatherings of women provide emotional support, safety planning and coping skills. The groups explore the dynamics of domestic violence, while providing education on healthy relationships. Without judgment or criticism, women talk, listen and learn from each other.
