Position:  Bookkeeper
Part-Time - 15 hours a week

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Record accounts payable in QuickBooks.
  • Record paid invoices from grant billings receivable in QuickBooks.
  • Maintain monthly credit card log and receipts.
  • Reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
  • Assist in assembling information for external auditors and grant applications.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

 Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in accounting or business administration.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Advanced knowledge of Quickbooks.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Preference given to individuals with five year or  more bookkeeping experience.
